A Newburgh man was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his part in a double shooting.
The Orange County district attorney says 25-year-old Lavelle Stackhouse approached 22-year-old Joshua Hendrick last September on William Street, pulled out a gun and fired at Hendrick, hitting him in the leg and torso.
The DA says Hendrick then pulled out a gun and returned fire as Stackhouse ran - and another person was hit in the shoulder.
The whole thing was caught on video.
Hendrick pleaded guilty in March for his part in the shootout.
Stackhouse will also be behind bars for attempted murder and several related crimes.
