News 12's Anthony Carlo spoke with Alberto Rodriguez, the program director for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, on what school supplies students will receive in their free backpacks as well as the opportunities the program brings to youth.
This partnership with the nonprofit, Optimum and Discovery comes along with the news that a school supply shortage has been hitting all parts of the country. Those who go to the event will get crayons, pencils, masks, notebooks, and a water bottle.
