Aid groups and volunteers from around the world have made their way to eastern Europe to help the thousands of Ukrainians who have fled the country during the Russian invasion.

One such person is Point Pleasant Beach Mayor Paul Kanitra, who flew to Poland to assist the refugees who have made their way into that country.
