45 years later, ArtsConnection still bringing art programs to NYC schools

When New York City public schools were going through budget cuts in the 1970s, arts programming was one of the first things to lose its funding. Luckily for students, ArtsConnection stepped in.

When New York City public schools were going through budget cuts in the 1970s, arts programming was one of the first things to lose its funding. Luckily for students, ArtsConnection stepped in and 45 years later, they are still providing arts education to students across all five boroughs.
News 12's Julia Joseph got to test out the steel pan drums at P.S. 38 to see the program in action.
