A New Jersey native who died after protecting the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection was honored on Sunday.

A New Jersey native who died after protecting the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection was honored on Sunday.
Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died a day after he responded to the Capitol.
A garden near where he grew up in South River was dedicated in his memory.
The garden was created by a South River High School National Honor Society student.
