Businesses on Union Street between 3rd Avenue and Nevins Street in Park Slope have spent almost a full work week without water due to construction.
The owners of Juice Haven, an organic juice and smoothie bar, say they've lost about 30 customers each day since construction started.
Construction crews are replacing the old water main that has been there since the 1800s. A contractor told News 12 Brooklyn that the block will have water in time for the weekend but come Monday, they will have to replace the main valve, cutting off water again.
The contractor went on to say that the block should have running water by the close of business Monday.
