Families and students don't have to break the bank to buy a desktop or laptop, thanks to a Hunts Point business.
The nonprofit Per Scholas, at 1231 Lafayette Ave., reconditions computers donated from companies and other sources before selling them at a low price.
One student facing term papers says she doesn't know what she would have done without the nonprofit.
Per Scholas also trains Bronx residents on how to gain employment as computer technicians.
