Broken umbrellas lined many sidewalks in Brooklyn Friday as a nor'easter is bringing heavy winds and rain to the region.
A wintry mix of snow and rain will continue throughout afternoon and into the commute home, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Residents commuting about their day say they're not happy about the storm, but are trying to stay positive.
"Oh it's bad out here, it's cold, it's wet and it's raw out here," one man says.
The nor'easter is expected to end sometime Saturday.
