The Norwood community lent a helping hand Sunday to restore a mural that was vandalized several months ago.
The mural was installed in 2018 on East 207th Street – a vibrant display of color that neighbors enjoyed until it was tagged by graffiti vandals.
Laura Alvarez told News 12 in March that she was trying to secure funding to restore the mural to what it once was. Once she did, Alvarez invited neighbors to help paint.
News 12's Brittany Cadet spoke with artists, including two brothers who put their paint brushes to work.
