Yellow sculptures are scattered across the five boroughs as part of a new initiative from the New York City Civic Engagement Commission.
The commission is using these statues to ask New Yorkers 11 and older to vote on where they want certain funding to go.
The project is called 'The People's Money' - it's a budgeting process that gives residents the opportunity to decide how their district's portion of $3.5 million be spent on community needs.
