The New York City Economic Development Corporation hosted a public workshop on the Brooklyn Marine Terminal's redevelopment on Monday.
The workshop was held at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church.
Attendees learned more about the plan, the engagement process and provide feedback.
The organization says it wants to make sure community members are part of the process for the reinvestment and development of the 122-acre waterfront property into a 21st century modern maritime port.
