The Springs Creek Tower Community Center is one of 12 vaccination sites across the New York City this weekend.
The state is hoping to vaccinate 4,000 New Yorkers at the new locations.
As the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine is increasing the federal supply, the state is continuing to add places to get vaccinated at NYCHA residences.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that the 12 new pop-up sites would be opening at developments, churches, community centers, schools and fire stations.
Added sites in the city include Caanan Baptist Church on 115th Street and the New York City Housing Authority Chelsea addition on West 27 Drive.
The governor’s office tells News 12 that 120 community-based pop-up centers have administered more than 50,000 first doses of the vaccine.
The site will come back in three weeks to administer the second dose of the vaccine.
