Local businesses in New York City are gearing up to welcome the new year with revelers.
Partygoers local and foreign alike are looking to share food, drinks and celebrations as they shout farewell to 2022 and hello to 2023.
At Freehold, a restaurant in Brooklyn, they've been doing their New Year's bash for 10 years with the food, drinks and even airing the Times Square ball drop on their TVs.
Josh Caswell, managing partner for Freehold, says wherever people decide to celebrate, it'll help those businesses not only end the old year strong, but also start the new year strong.
For those who do go out, remember to drink responsibly and don't risk your life and the life of others by drinking and driving.
Subways, buses and taxis are other options to get home safely.
