A New York City police officer from Brooklyn died on the job Tuesday after an apparent heart attack.
Police say 35-year-old Francis Hennessy and two other officers were responding to a 911 call. Hennessy collapsed and complained of chest pains after arriving at the scene. He later died at a SUNY hospital.
A medical examiner will determine Hennessy?s exact cause of death. Hennessy is the first police officer from Brooklyn to die while on duty this year.
