New York City Restaurant Week is underway for more than just seven days.
Customers will have three weeks to check out more than 30 cuisines in 42 neighborhoods for a discount.
Those participating in Restaurant Week offer two courses for lunch at $26 and three courses for dinner at $42.
Eateries like Benchmark Restaurant in Park Slope say it's a good way to bring in customers.
"We see a lot of new faces, but then throughout the year, we'll start to see them again and again,” said Ryan Jaronik, the chef and owner. “We’ve noticed that they came during Restaurant Week."
Restaurant Week runs until Aug. 17, except on Saturdays. A list of participating restaurants can be found on the
city’s website.
