NYPD: 1 man killed, another injured in Brownsville shooting

According to the NYPD, two men were shot by the intersection of Sutter Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard just before 8 p.m. when the incident began.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Brownsville on Monday night where one man died, and another was injured by gunfire.
According to the NYPD, two men were shot by the intersection of Sutter Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard just before 8 p.m. They say one man in his 50s was shot in the back and transported to a nearby hospital where he died.
Another 41-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time. The motive of the shooting is currently unknown.
