The NYPD is searching for a suspect who fired an airsoft gun at an 11-year-old boy in Crotona Park.

Surveillance video shows a man wearing an orange shirt walk up to the victim in the area of Charlotte and East 170th streets.

Police say the suspect then shot the boy with the airsoft gun five times before running away with two other people.

The victim is expected to be OK.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD.
