NYPD: 14-year-old shot in the hip in Williamsburg

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable conditions.

A 14-year-old boy is recovering right now in the hospital after he was shot in the hip, police say.

It happened on Clymer Street around 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Police believe this was a targeted attack and are currently looking for the man who they believe pulled the trigger.

Over the weekend, more violence struck teens across Brooklyn. In East Flatbush two teens were slashed. Police say a15-year-old was slashed in his chest and a 14-year-old was slashed on his hand.

Last week, another young Brooklyn resident was victim to gun violence as well. Over in Crown Heights, a 17-year-old was shot in the chest. Police tell News 12 this happened outside of a high school.
