NYPD: 15-year-old girl slashed in Prospect Heights; male teen sought

Police are searching for a teenage boy who they say slashed a 15-year-old girl Monday afternoon.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred near Classon Avenue and Eastern Parkway just before 2:30 p.m.
They say the male teen fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
A representative from the NYC School Safety Coalition says the teens attend a school on the Prospect Heights Educational Campus. The Department of Education says the incident occurred off-campus.
