NYPD: 16-year-old stabbed in Lincoln Terrace Park in critical condition

The attack occurred just before 7 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Rochester Avenue and Carroll Street.

A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times near Lincoln Terrace Park.

The attack occurred just before 7 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Rochester Avenue and Carroll Street.

Police say the teen suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.

Police have not yet released information on a suspect or motive.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

The violent incident left many Brooklyn residents in shock.

"It's hard to believe something like this could happen to a teen during their time off," said Shamarr Bella, of Crown Heights.
