NYPD: 17-year-old arrested for fatal gas station shooting; three others still sought

Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old boy for the murder of a man outside of a gas station in Bushwick.

Police have arrested and charged a 17-year-old boy for the murder of a man outside of a gas station in Bushwick. They are now asking for the public's help in identifying three other people who may have been involved.
The NYPD says Javier Sanchez, 33, was shot in the head and killed around 4 a.m. on Sept. 3. He was shot outside of the BP gas station on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Grove Street around the corner from his home.
Police have arrested and charged an unidentified 17-year-old with murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
They are still searching for two men and a woman wanted in connection to the homicide.
Police say they are still looking for Gonzalo Martinez, 23, Ezequiel Delamerced, 29, and Sherlin Licurgo Espinoza, 19. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
