NYPD: 17-year-old shot in rib, 5 suspects at large

The NYPD says a 17-year-old male teen was shot outside of Clara Barton High School on Wednesday night.
Police say it happened on the corner of President Street and Washington Avenue at 6:39 p.m.
Parents in the area told News 12 off camera a basketball game was being held right next door at Prospect Heights High School at around 5:30 p.m.
They saw an hour later, their children heard multiple shots ring out, and the school went on lockdown.
The teen was taken to Kings County Hospital and is now in stable condition.
News 12 reached out to the DOE for comment and are waiting to hear back as of Wednesday night.
