NYPD: 18-year-old dies following scooter, bus crash in Queens

Police say an 18-year-old man is dead after he ran a red light on his scooter and collided with a bus.
According to the NYPD, the collision took place at 168th Street and 89th Avenue in Jamaica around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The 18-year-old scooter driver was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driver stayed on scene and was not injured.
