NYPD: 2 dead, several injured after gunfire erupts in East New York

Two men were killed and several others wounded during a shooting in East New York early Sunday morning.

Two men were killed and several others wounded during a shooting in East New York early Sunday morning.
NYPD officials say they responded to a ShotSpotter activation and multiple calls at 101 Wortman Ave.
When police arrived, three individuals were inside of a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, a 32-year-old male, was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Another victim, a 36-year-old male, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced deceased.
The third victim in the car was a 51-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his right forearm, upper back and chest. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
Police also determined that two individuals sustained gunshot wounds inside of 101 Wortman Ave: a 37-year-old male listed in stable condition at Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle and a 32-year-old male listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital.
