Police say two men were shot to death inside an apartment building located at 1418 Brooklyn Ave. in East Flatbush late Sunday night.

According to police and residents, a stepfather, 47, and a stepson, 27, got into a heated argument in the hallway up on the fourth floor. As their argument escalated, another resident got annoyed by their loud fighting and got involved and shot them multiple times in their heads and stomachs.

Nine shell casings were recovered at the scene when police arrived. It wasn't immediately clear if the victims were tenants or visitors.

Police say the suspect who fled the scene was described as bald. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and jeans.

No arrests have been made and the identities of the victims have yet to be released pending family notification.
