Attacker on run after shooting man aboard Bronx train

Police say they responded to an overnight double shooting in Sheepshead Bay.

According to the NYPD, the shooting took place at the Sheepshead Bay Houses on Avenue X at around 2:30 a.m.

One man was shot in the legs while a second man was struck in the cheek.

The 24-year-old victim was taken by EMS to a hospital, and the 31-year-old victim walked into a hospital to be treated. They're both expected to be OK.

There are no arrests at this time.
