NYPD: 2 people attacked by group shouting anti-Palestinian remarks

Police say a man and a woman in their 30s were walking near the Flatbush Avenue Extension between Tech Place and Myrtle Avenue when they were approached by a group of unidentified individuals who shouted hateful remarks.

Police say a man and a woman in their 30s were walking near the Flatbush Avenue Extension between Tech Place and Myrtle Avenue when they were approached by a group of unidentified individuals who shouted hateful remarks.

The NYPD released video of the suspects' verbal attacks before it turned physical.

Both victims were kicked and punched, the woman sustained an eye injury, according to officials.

NYPD data shows hate crime is up by 23% in the 84th Precinct.

The NYPD is investigating this incident as a hate crime.
