NYPD: 2 people hospitalized in West Farms shooting

A 16-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds in the West Farms section of the Bronx, police say.

A suspect is wanted following two separate West Farms shootings that sent two men to hospital Tuesday night, police say.
According to the NYPD, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the left shoulder at around 10:30 p.m. near East 176th Street. Shortly after, in the same area, a 28-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the right arm.
What exactly led to that shooting is still unclear. Authorities have yet to confirm if the men were targeted.
Both men were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and they are in stable condition.
