The NYPD is asking for the public's help identifying four people they say are linked to an attempted robbery last month.
On Sept. 22, police say four people approached a man in his 40s near 48th Street and 8th Avenue and asked for money. One of them then struck the victim with an expandable baton – leaving a laceration on his head.
Police say the four people left the scene “without removing any property” from the victim, who was treated at Maimonides Medical Center.
Anyone with information about the suspect are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
