The NYPD is asking for the public's help identifying four people they say are linked to an attempted robbery last month.
On Sept. 22, police say four people approached a man in his 40s near 48th Street and 8th Avenue and asked for money. One of them then struck the victim with an expandable baton – leaving a laceration on his head.
Police say the four people left the scene “without removing any property ” from the victim, who was treated at Maimonides Medical Center.
Anyone with information about the suspect are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
