A man was fatally shot in the back of the head in the Bronx early Wednesday morning, police say.
According to police, the 45-year-old man was sitting in the back of a car when he was shot through the rear windshield, striking him in the back of the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the incident took place at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on East 162nd Street in the Morrisania section of the borough.
Two other people were in the car at the time and were reported uninjured.
Police are still investigating the incident but say it could have been a case of road rage.
