A new report from the NYPD Special Victims Division says attacks against the Jewish and Muslim communities have risen in the past few months.
The report says the attacks have risen 39 percent since July, when unrest in Gaza became front page news.
A rally was held at City Hall Thursday by local leaders, who denounced the rise in hate crimes.
