Police arrest man in connection to shooting murders in Clinton Hill
5h agoA 45-year-old man is now facing a slew of charges after attacking an on-duty female officer Monday in the Bronx, authorities say.
According to police, the man hit the female officer from behind with a glass bottle in Kingsbridge at around 2 p.m. near West 231st Street and Broadway.
The suspect was identified as Jose Garcia. Garcia is now facing charges that include assault, resisting arrest and criminal possession of a weapon.
The officer was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where she was treated and released.
No other details have been revealed.
