NYPD confiscates $35 million worth of counterfeit goods; 18 arrested

The NYPD is cracking down on counterfeit goods following numerous complaints from the community and business owners in Manhattan.

Video shared by the NYPD chief of patrol showed officers on Canal Street and Broadway where they made 18 arrests and confiscated three truck loads full of merchandise worth $35 million.

Authorities say the operations will continue with officers staying in the area to prevent others from selling counterfeit goods.
