2ds agoPolice say a Flatlands driver was arrested and charged after striking a pedestrian and fleeing the scene overnight.
According tot he NYPD, the driver was traveling in a Jeep vehicle on Flatbush Avenue when they struck the victim at around 1:20 a.m.
The driver fled the scene, but officers caught the driver a couple of blocks away from the incident.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and is expected to be OK.
Charges are pending for the driver.
