NYPD: Driver strikes 63-year-old man in East Williamsburg

The driver of a Kia struck a 63-year-old man near Vandervoort and Maspeth avenues.

A driver could be facing charges after striking a man with his car Monday in East Williamsburg, according to the NYPD.
Police say a 32-year-old man was driving a Kia and hit another car as he was traveling between Vandervoort and Maspeth avenues.
The same driver veered off and hit a 63-year-old man standing at that intersection.
Police say the victim is now in critical condition at a local hospital.
