NYPD: 79-year-old woman fatally struck by 2 cars in hit-and-run

Police say the incident took place at the intersection of New York Avenue and Herkimer Street just after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A woman was struck and killed by two separate cars that both fled the scene of the incident, according to the NYPD. 
Police say the incident took place at the intersection of New York Avenue and Herkimer Street just after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. 
Officials say that the victim, a 79-year-old woman, was struck first by a Nissan Rogue. She was then struck a second time by a white Toyota Sienna minivan. Both vehicles fled the scene, according to law enforcement. 
No arrests have been made at this time.
