2h agoPolice say a man was struck and killed by a garbage truck on Kings Highway in Brooklyn Thursday night.
The incident took place at the intersection of East 14th Street and Kings Highway at around 10 p.m.
The 58-year-old victim was taken to a hospital where he later died. He was identified as Diego Andrade of Brooklyn.
According to police, the truck struck Andrade when he was crossing the street.
Officers say the garbage truck driver stayed on the scene, and no charges have been filed at this time.
