The NYPD gave away prom dresses on Friday at Borough Hall.

Hundreds of students came by for the annual event to get ready for prom season.

“We have seen so many young men and women, mothers, fathers come and thank us because some couldn't afford the outfits,” said Timothy Pearson, the vice president of the Noble NY Chapter. “Now here they're getting the opportunity to wear the best, to be their best, and to lift their spirits to go to their proms.”

The kids were also able to get free jewelry, plus makeup and haircuts.
