Police say a man they believe is responsible for a December fatal shooting in the Bronx is now in their custody.
According to the NYPD, the arrest of Yorvin Gomez, 26, comes nearly 5 months after Johnny Gaston, 32, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head in front of a store at 189 Burnside Ave.
Authorities say the killing was in connection to a robbery that also resulted in a 27-year-old man being shot in the groin.
Gomez is facing multiple charges including murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a loaded firearm. This is the second arrest related to the case with the first involving a 19-year-old being apprehended with similar charges.
