Man wanted for sexually abusing 10-year-old girl in Brooklyn

A man and a woman were shot just after 8 a.m. Monday inside an apartment building on President Street in Crown Heights, investigators say.

Police have not said what caused the shooting to happen. Some neighbors told News 12 the shooting happened on the second floor.

The 30-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were taken to the hospital and are expected to OK.

Neighbors who spoke to News 12 said it has left tenants of the apartment building, like Ernesto Lappe, worried.

"I have a 6-month-old baby. We missed this shooting by minutes,” Lappe said. “Yeah, of course I'm concerned."

No arrests have been made yet.
