The man who stole a school bus and crashed into vehicles in Brooklyn Thursday has been arrested.
Anthony Reyes will face charges including grand larceny and resisting arrest, according to police. They say Reyes has been arrested nearly a dozen times before, including once for stealing a rental truck in the Bronx.
Police say Reyes stole the bus from the driveway of the driver in East Flatbush. The driver was able to track down the location of the bus using the GPS.
According to police, the bus was parked near the Jackie Robinson Parkway. As they tried to get on the bus, Reyes drove off. The chase went from Queens back to Brooklyn where he hit a building.
Reyes continued driving down to Atlantic and Georgie avenues hitting cars along the way.
Police say an officer and several civilians were injured.
A teacher was pulled out of her car by an officer just before the bus hit her car.
No children were on the bus at the time.
