NYPD: Man breaks in, steals packages of sneakers from apartment building

The NYPD is searching for a man that broke into an apartment building to steal packages of sneakers from residents.
According to police, the man broke in just before 2:45 a.m. on Dec. 27. using an unknown object to gain access to the hallway between the outer and inner doors of the main entrance. There, he removed multiple packages before fleeing on foot.
The suspect, who is described to be around 25 years old with a dark complexion and standing around 5 feet, 11 inches tall, was last seen wearing a gray coat, a black hoodie, black jeans and tan boots.
