Police say a 41-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times inside a Coney Island apartment building around 7 a.m. Sunday.
He was found with multiple bullet wounds and was brought to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Residents told News 12 they aren't surprised this happened in the neighborhood.
“These things have been happening for years, and it’s a shame that it’s still happening but that’s life, that’s New York life," said Frantz, who works in the area.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday night.
