A 33-year-old man was fatally stabbed Saturday afternoon in East New York, according to police.
Authorities say the suspect stabbed the victim in the torso around 3:30 p.m. on Livonia Avenue and Cleveland Street.
The man was taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced dead.
Police say the victim and the suspect likely knew each other.
They also believe the incident possibly stemmed from a dispute earlier that day.
Police say an individual was taken into custody for questioning.
