NYPD: 1 dead, 1 injured in overnight shootings in Cypress Hills and East New York

Two overnight shootings within the 75th Precinct left one man dead and another wounded.
The first shooting happened around midnight Sunday in Cypress Hills at the intersection of Elton Street and Fulton Street.
Police say a 26-year-old man was shot in the shoulder. He’s in stable condition at Brookdale Hospital.
The second shooting happened on Georgia Avenue in East New York around 4 a.m. Police say a 42-year-old man was shot and killed.
No information about arrests or suspects has been released by the NYPD.
