Police say a man is wanted as the prime suspect of a Monday robbery in Brooklyn.

According to the NYPD, the man entered the lobby of the Hotel Hashtag at 30 East 98th St. and approached the 34-year-old female employee who was sitting at the front desk.

The suspect asked the employee if he could use her cellphone, but she offered the landline phone at the desk. Police say the suspect then displayed a firearm and grabbed the employee's arm and forcibly removed a ring from her finger. He then threatened to shoot her if she did not hand over her cellphone.

The man fled with the employee's iPhone 14 and ring on a black bicycle.

The victim sustained minor injuries.
