Police say a driver accused of killing a 71-year-old mother and injuring her 44-year-old daughter in Bushwick is on the loose.
According to authorities, Juanita Vidal and her daughter Jessica were both hit by a speeding car a few days before Mother's Day on Elder Street and Knickerbocker Avenue.
The driver was behind the wheel of a rental car. Officials say the person was trying to out-run police to avoid a traffic stop.
The mom, daughter and two parked cars were all hit.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police.
