An NYPD officer is in the hospital after drag racing chaos unfolded in Borough Park Saturday morning, according to NYPD.
Police say they received multiple 911 calls for drag racing and reckless driving around 3 a.m. near Knapp Street and Avenue W.
When officers arrived, one vehicle rear-ended a marked NYPD patrol car.
An unidentified person then slashed the police vehicle's tires with a sharp object, jumped onto the hood and smashed the passenger-side window with an unknown object.
One officer was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
