NYPD: One person injured, shooter on loose after gunfire erupts outside Domino's Pizza

An employee of the Domino's says a few men began having a dispute outside and within moments one of the men opened fire.

Gunfire erupted outside a Domino's Pizza on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie overnight, leaving one person hurt and the storefront shattered.
Police say the shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. An employee of the Domino's says a few men began having a dispute outside and within moments one of the men opened fire. He says he called 911 after the victim came inside bleeding.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was shot in the shoulder. Police says he was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but is expected to survive.
While the store was open at the time of the incident, no employees were harmed, although the glass windows were left shattered.
The Domino's is located on Rockaway Parkway, just before the entrance to the Belt Parkway.
A motive was not immediately clear.
Officers say the shooter was still on the loose as of this morning. They say he was last seen driving off in a dark colored vehicle.
