Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man wanted for raping a 5-year-old girl near our area in Staten Island.

They say 30-year-old Dominique Giles raped the girl on Jan. 22.

Police say that Giles was known to the girl.

Police sources say Giles has one prior arrest in 2024 and was charged with criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and assault in the third degree.

Giles is described as having medium complexion, brown eyes, braided hairstyle, 6 feet tall and approximately 180 pounds.
